Delta Airlines Overview: 

Delta Air Lines was founded over nine decades ago in 1924. What began as a local crop dusting business in Georgia has grown to become the largest airline in the world. Atlanta, GA is the headquarters for this airline, and the primary hub for Delta is Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport in Atlanta. Delta operates in 54 countries in over 300 destinations across North America, the Asian Pacific, Europe, Latin America, the Middle East, Africa, and the Caribbean. There are over 800 aircraft in the Delta Air Line fleet. Delta has one of largest inventory of aircraft among all other airlines. The Delta fleet includes the following: the Boeing 767, McDonnell Douglas MD-90, Boeing 717, McDonnell Douglas MD-88, Airbus A330, and Boeing 757.
What to Expect
Delta offers several different onboard options and services. The following is a list of seating experiences provided by Delta: Basic Economy, Main Cabin, Delta Comfort, First Class, Delta Premium Select, and Delta One. Each passenger will be able to experience entertainment on the back of seats, in screen sizes that vary by aircraft and seat selection. Complimentary, exclusive Delta studio access is also available for all passengers. For those on long haul international flights, complimentary headsets are provided for each passenger. For these flights, Delta Premium Select and Delta One passengers will receive noise cancelling headphones. Complimentary snacks and beverages are included with every passenger’s fare. The fee for baggage varies depending upon when you bought your ticket, where you’re traveling to, and whether or not you checked in online or at the airport. Carry-on bags are free for all passengers. The first checked bag is $25, the second checked bag is $35, and it is $135 for the third checked bag. For each checked bag after the third it costs $200 to check each additional bag. Passengers can check up to 10 bags with Delta.
